Thank you for your interest in an account with TD, Kelly! We'd be happy to help.
You'll be happy to know that there is no minimum amount you need in order to open either a checking or savings account with us. Keep in mind, however, that some of our accounts require a daily minimum balance to avoid a maintenance fee.
We invite you to take a look at the variety of accounts we have available. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for a customer recommendation. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you find the account that best suits your needs, you are able to complete the opening process in a few ways.
You are able to select "Open Account" beneath the product of your choosing, call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist or visit any TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at our Store locations please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Keep in mind that regardless of the method you choose, you will need your Social Security Number and a valid photo I.D. (Driver's license, State ID, or Passport etc.).
We hope you find this information helpful, Kelly. If you have any further questions, feel free to let us know!
