It is a pleasure to have you join us here on TD Helps, Ashley. To begin the process of getting a copy of your car title, you'll want to obtain a Release of Lien from TD Bank. Once you have this paperwork, you'll then be able to provide this to your local DMV to get a copy of the title for your car. To obtain your Release of Lien from TD Bank, a fax is required. Please fax the following information to the Consumer Release Department at 207-755-4245: • Your full name, address, and Social Security number •The account number, if it is available • The year, make, model and VIN, as well as the bank the loan was with and the date it was paid off, if available •Your request for a Release of Lien •Your signature We also recommend including your best contact number and your return fax number so that we can assist you as efficiently as possible. Please keep in mind that the turnaround time for the request is typically 3-5 business days. Should you like any assistance during this process, please contact a dedicated Financial Solutions Group Representative directly at 800-937-5020, and select Option 2. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience. You may also stop in to any of our convenient store locations for help. Please see: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find our Stores nearest you. Hope this helps and have a fantastic day.
