I used my debit card at the grocery store earlier today, but either left it (the cashier I checked out with was no longer on the clock by the time I returned) or dropped it somewhere on my way home.
I have my information (I use the iPad device, which stores my number but not password/pin/etc), but I do not currently have a phone that I can use to call it in as lost.
Do I need to find a TD branch to visit in person to handle this situation?

We're sorry to hear what's happened, Patricia.
We'd like to help get your debit card closed as soon as possible to avoid any fraudulent use. If you're able to come in to see us at one of our Stores, we can close the lost card and should be able to issue you a replacement debit card on the spot. To find a TD Bank Store near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We understand you don't have a phone to call us, but if you're unable to visit us in a Store during lobby hours, we still want to get your debit card closed to prevent unauthorized charges. We have Customer Service Representatives available 24/7 by phone. If you're able to access a payphone or borrow a phone from a friend or family member, we can be reached toll free at 888-751-9000.
As we see that you're writing in from Ottawa, we also want to provide you with contact info for TD Canada Trust. If your account is with TD Canada Trust, we recommend posing your question to TD Helps in Canada, by clicking here: https://go.td.com/1QBOF4U. My debit card has been recovered!
It seems the cashier noticed it and locked it away before she went on break.
She recognized me when I was in again today and returned it to me.
Thank you very much for your assistance, though; I have saved a copy of the information in case anything like this every happens again in the future!
