I don't live close to your bank. Can I make the opening deposit by sending a money order by mail? I don't have a credit card to put it on or another checking account to transfer the funds from. If I can send by mail, where do I mail it to and what information do you need so that I can make sure that it is deposited in my account? I opened this account online and got to the part where you fund the account.

Now that your account is open, you may mail in your initial or any deposit thereafter to the following address:

We'd also like to share a few tips with you that could help before mailing your deposit.
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
We'd also like to let you know that once you've been a TD Bank Customer for at least 90 days or longer with an active Checking, Savings or Money Market account, you will have the option to deposit your check via your phone by using our TD Bank Mobile App. With the TD Bank Mobile App, you could initiate a Mobile Deposit if you have an Internet-enabled mobile device.
In order to use the Mobile Banking, you must first be enrolled in Online Banking via www.tdbank.com. During the enrollment process you will create a user name and password which you will then use for Mobile Banking. If you have not enrolled already, you can do so by visiting here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, your TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your account number and your email address.
If you do not have the pieces of information required to enroll, you can contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and they will be happy to help you enroll in Online Banking.
Once you've created your online account or if you are enrolled already, you can download the app by visiting: http://bit.ly/1opBqUt. The user name and password that Mobile Banking will ask you for is the same as the one you've created for Online Banking. Please note that the Mobile Banking app is available for IPhones, Android and Blackberry phones at this time.
