We're happy to help with your transfer inquiry today.
Transferring funds is easier than it has ever been before with our new feature called 'Send Money', which allows you to send and receive funds via your Online Banking. Send Money is a totally free service for Person-to-Person transfers! The two delivery options are available through either your TDBank.com online account or via the TD Bank Mobile app. This feature allows for transfers between TD Bank accounts and it also allows you to send money domestically to any account inside and outside TD Bank without having to visit a Store. Also, you will be able to send money via text or email. You can also send recurring transfers. Please check out https://go.td.com/2q2Yodj for all of the exciting details.
Though Send Money is free, you may take a look here for our Fee Schedule: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK for any applicable fees that may be associated.
Send Money has an instant option; this convenient choice sends funds to the recipient immediately. A TD Debit Card linked to your account is required for this option. The transactions done this way are counted toward your daily Debit Card limits.
There is also an optional 3-Day Transfer- no Debit Card is required for this choice.
It's easy to sign up for Send Money with the steps below! It will be necessary to re-enroll if you used our previous 3rd party Person-to-Person provider.
First you'll need to be enrolled in TD Online Banking or be a TD Bank Mobile app user and have a Personal checking or money market account. If you have not enrolled, you may do so by following this link: https://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, your email address, and your current TD ATM/Debit card.
For transfers initiated through Online Banking:
1. Log in to TD Online Banking
2. Select 'Send Money'.
3. Ensure your email address shown is correct.
4. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
5. If you sign up with your mobile number, select text or call to receive a verification code. If you sign up using your email we'll send you a verification code by email.
6. Enter the code to verify your email address or mobile number.
7. We'll show your accounts that are eligible for Instant Transfer. Just choose the one you wish to use.
For transfers initiated through the TD Bank app:
1. Tap 'Send Money' from the quick links or the transfers screen.
2. Log in to the TD app.
Then follow steps 3 to 7 as shown above.
It is very important to be sure that you have mobile notifications enabled for TD Bank.
If you sign up with your email and don't receive a verification code, please check your e-mail Spam folder.
