Hello, Daniel and welcome to TD Helps. We're so glad to hear of your interest in an account with us, and it's our pleasure to provide you with some information.
As you mentioned that you're not a United States citizen or resident at this time, in order to open an account with us, you will need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. We welcome you to do so, and if you'll be in the US, for hours and locations take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you haven't already done so, we invite you to review the account types we offer. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a checking account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a non-US Resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We hope this is the information you were looking for, Daniel! We welcome your reply on TD Helps if you have other questions. Take care.
