Welcome to TD Helps, Hiteshkumar.
It's great to hear that you're interested in opening a business account with us, and we'll be more than happy to help.
Before we begin, we'd like to take a moment to go over the types of business accounts we currently offer. If you believe that a Business Checking account may suit your needs best, feel free to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2lg0QHF. We also offer Business Savings accounts, which you can find here: https://go.td.com/2lLYIL4. If you're having trouble deciding, you're more than welcome to use our Business Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/2qddtcK, which can help by making a personalized recommendation based on your needs. By using the links above, you can also find more information on each account specifically, such as any minimum balances or maintenance fees.
Once you've decided on the account that will best fit your needs, we ask that you visit us at your nearest TD Store location to speak with a Customer Service Representative. To take a look at Store locations and their hours, please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. Before your visit, please know that there are a few things you need to bring with you.
If your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process. Whoever is going to be a signer on the account will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.), as well as have their Social Security Number handy, as both of these items will be needed to complete the process. For a non-resident alien opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID, and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business.
If you are looking to open an LLC, there are some additional documents you will need to bring with you, which include the documents used to form and register your business, as well as the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Only one of these documents is required for account opening; however, you're welcome to bring more than one if you desire. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
If you have any questions at all, and would rather discuss them with a Specialist before your visit to a TD Store location, you're more than welcome to call 1-800-493-7562, option two. For your convenience, our Small Business Banking Specialists are available at the number above, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We hope this information was helpful, Hiteshkumar. Take care!
