An account was opened many years ago for a family trust account and within a few months it will have to be closed. We are awaiting checks that will be made to The Family Trust and would like to know the the minimum needed to keep the account with no maintenance fees to charged.

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, William.
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to answer. Since TD Helps is not a secured forum, we are unable to access your account specific information. However, if your account is a TD Elite Savings, the minimum daily balance required to avoid the monthly maintenance fee is $10,000.00. If your balance falls below the minimum at any point during your statement period, a maintenance fee of $12.00 will be accessed to your account.
If you have any further questions, you may call or visit any TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. You may also call 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition, you also have the options to receive further assistance by sending a secure message. You may do so by logging into your TD Bank online profile, following the link included here http://bit.ly/1ZRfiVa. We hope this helps, William, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
