What is the minimum age to open a simple checking account? I understand that a parent needs to be linked to it if under 18, but how old do I need to be to open one with a parent linked to it? Also, with opening a simple checking account I can get a debit and ATM card, right?

The minimum age to open an account is 18 years old. If you are under the age of 18, we suggest that you visit your local TD Bank Store with a parent/guardian. To view our TD Store hours and locations, please check out this link: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
You may view our Product Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E to check out all of our products, and find the account that will fit your banking needs. Once an eligible account is opened, you may certainly obtain a new debit or ATM card at your local TD Store.
