Is there a way to temporarily turn off my debit card. I misplaced it but know where it is. Will take me a day or two to get it.

Welcome to TD Helps Gary!
We're sorry to hear that you've misplaced your debit card, and we'll be happy to help.
As you do not have your debit card in your possession, we recommend contacting us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to have it closed. We are unable to put a temporary hold on a debit card.
Please note that for your account security, once a debit card has been closed, it won't be able to be reactivated.
You're welcome to stop in at any TD Bank Store nearby you and we'll be able to issue you a card during your visit! Our Stores are equipped with instant-issue machines so that you'll be able to leave with a permanent card in hand. Feel free to find a listing of Stores and lobby hours nearest you at http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Or, if it's easier for you, you're welcome to give us a call and we'll be happy to mail a card to you at your address on file. We're available 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for your convenience. After account verification, we can ensure we have your address correctly and get one sent out to you. These will usually arrive within 7-10 business days, depending on your local post office.
We hope this information helps, Gary!
