I have a question could a photocopy of my pay check be deposited through the mobile app???

Hi Mark, we're glad you joined us on TD Helps today!
If you're currently enrolled in online banking, you may deposit your checks through our app. Please note that only the original check can be deposited; photocopies cannot be accepted. If you've been provided with a replacement check by your bank due to a check that was previously returned, please know that we do recommend making that type of deposit with a teller.
If you have an original check, you may follow the steps that are listed below to make a mobile deposit.
1. From the Main Menu of the TD Bank mobile banking app, select 'Mobile Deposit', then 'Deposit a Check'
2. Enter the amount of the check
3. Take a photo of the check using your mobile device
4. Select the account you'd like the check to be deposited to
5. Review and submit your deposit.
You may want to note the date on the front of the check and include the word “Deposited”, for your records. Additionally, you may want to keep this for 14 days to ensure it has cleared your account. You are then welcome to destroy the check.

If you do not have the pieces of information required to enroll, you can contact our Digital Banking Specialists 24/7 at the number mentioned above, and they will be happy to help you enroll in online banking.
