I deposited a check the Friday before the July 4th holiday weekend. I assumed it would not go through until Tuesday, but it is still not showing up as being deposited or as a pending transaction. It was only $120 and I think the photo quality was fine. Additionally, I already wrote "deposited" and the date on the front of the check. Am I just being impatient? Will the fact that I wrote "deposited" on it make it impossible for me to deposit it now if an error was made with the mobile deposit?

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Claire. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, and we'll be happy to clear it up for you as best we can.
Typically, if your deposit is made before 8pm on a business day it will be made available the following business day. If your deposit is made after 8pm on a business day or on any weekend or holiday, the next business day will be considered the deposit date. For example if you make a mobile deposit on a Saturday, the deposit date will be Monday, since that is typically the next business day; your funds would then generally be available on Tuesday. For more information, take a look here: http://go.td.com/1ff8byL (the deposit availability details are listed in sections 6 and 7). For additional details about mobile deposit, please take a look here: http://go.td.com/1e3jiYF.
Once a deposit has been submitted successfully, you may not cancel the deposit. If a mistake was made, please notify TD Bank right away. You may contact Customer Service at 888-751-9000, 24/7, or visit your local TD bank Store during lobby hours for assistance. We hope this helped answer your question, Claire, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
