Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, John.
We're glad to see you are utilizing the Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposit services. TD Bank Mobile Deposit is available for most iPhone and Android devices and to customers of at least 90 days or longer with an active checking, savings or money market account.
When making a Mobile Deposit, you can simply follow the steps provided as you will first be asked to take a picture of the front of the check, then the back. On the check, please sign and endorse with your signature on the checks designated line, and then feel free to make your mobile deposit! For your own personal records, you may write "deposited" on the check.
Please note; there are daily limits and 30-day limits on our Mobile Deposits. The limits on mobile deposits depend on the length of your relationship with TD Bank. If your account has been open for 90 days to 6 months, you'll be able to make deposits with a daily limit of $1,000.00 and a 30 day limit of $2,500.00. If your account has been open for 6 months to a year, your daily limit is $2,500.00, with a 30 day limit of $3,500.00. After your account is open for a year, the daily limit is $2,500, with a 30 day limit of $6,000.00. Please note; the limits are subject to change, so we invite you to visit: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF for more information and FAQ's on Mobile Deposit.
If you have any questions about when your deposit will become available for your use, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
We hope this information helps, John.
