i have a checking and savings account on my debit card. i added my girl friend to just the savings account and gave her an atm card for it cause we use that account for rent. Is there a way she can sign up for online banking so she can see the balance of the account on her phone?
and if so, is it a "statement savings" or "passbook svgs" when it askes the account type

Thanks for dropping by TD Helps this afternoon, Nicholas! We'll be glad to answer your question regarding online banking access.
If you'd like your girlfriend to have access to your joint savings account, we recommend that she gives one of our 24/7 Banking Specialists a call at 888-751-9000. Once our Specialists verify the account information, they'll be able to give her online access to your account. Once she's enrolled in online banking, she can download our mobile app. Click here: http://bit.ly/1opBqUt to download the app and for additional information on our mobile app.
In regard to whether your savings account is a passbook or statement savings, the account would have to be a statement savings as passbook savings accounts do not have the option of obtaining a debit or ATM card.
If you should have any additional questions, feel free to give us a call at the telephone number listed above or visit us at any TD Bank during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this helps and enjoy the rest of your afternoon, Nicholas! Take care.
