Great question and thanks for stopping by TD Helps for your answer. We are happy to assist you!
If you have recently purchased a money order at a TD Bank Store location and would like to place a stop payment on it, we recommend giving us a call, 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to request the stop payment be placed. Please note that we'll first need to verify if the money order has been cashed already; if it hasn't, we can proceed with your stop payment. When you call, you'll need the following information:
-Money order number
-Date of issue
If for any reason you don't have this information, you're welcome to visit a TD Bank Store for assistance. If possible, we do recommend that you stop in at the Store where the money order was purchased. For Store hours and locations, please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note there may be a fee applied for a stop payment. Please visit: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our fee schedule.
If you were given a money order by a TD Customer and would like to determine if a stop payment has been placed on it, please visit your local TD Bank Store location with your valid photo ID for further assistance.
We hope this information helps. Enjoy the rest of your day!
