Welcome to TD Helps, Alison!
You're able to send funds to TD or non-TD account holders by using Send Money online or by completing a wire transfer.
You can use Send Money via Online Banking to send funds to another TD Customer or individuals at other institutions. To sign in, please visit here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq.
Once logged in, please select the Send Money tab. If you have not already done so, you will first need to enroll in the service. To do so, please complete the following:
-Ensure your email address is up to date
-Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
-If you sign up with your mobile number, select text or call to receive a verification code. If you sign up using your email we'll send you a verification code by email.
-Enter the code to verify your email/phone
Once the enrollment is complete, you are able to select Send to begin the transfer process. You will then need to create a contact by following the prompts.
Please know that in order to use this feature, you will need, a U.S. address, phone number, Social Security Number, email address and active debit card.
If you have any trouble, please reach out to our Tech Support Specialists 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
Keep in mind that there are limits when using Send Money. If the dollar amount you choose is not accepted, you would need to complete a wire transfer.
To initiate a domestic or international wire transfer from your account, you will need to visit a TD Bank Store. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
We also recommend reaching out to the other financial institution to determine if any additional information is required.
Keep in mind that there may be fees associated with the sending of a wire transfer. To learn more please visit https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
We hope this helps, Alison! Enjoy your day!
