This is a great question.
Here at TD Bank, we offer a discretionary overdraft feature for our Customer's called TD Debit Card Advance. With this feature, TD Bank may cover your everyday debit card transactions, even when you don't have enough money available in your account! TD Bank offers this service as a convenience, and as a safety net, to give you the peace of mind in knowing that your card will work for you when you need it most.
If your account is currently enrolled in this feature, you may be able to make purchases even while your account reflects a negative balance; however, it's important to note that TD Bank does pay overdrafts at our discretion.
