Thanks for submitting your question, Aaron.
If the check you received is also written off of a TD account, you may cash it at any TD location. However, if the check was not from a TD account, you may cash the check against your account as long as the funds are available in your account to cover the amount of the check, until the check clears.
If you do not have the funds in your account to cover the check, no worries, you may also deposit the check into your account with one of our Tellers at any TD Bank Store. If you have been with TD Bank longer than 30 days, you will have $100 dollars available instantly and the remaining amount will clear at the earliest the following business day. If you have been with the bank less than 30 days, there will be nothing available immediately and it can take 7-10 business days to clear. We recommend reviewing our Personal Deposit Account Agreement http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for you to view for more information. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
For a listing of our locations and hours please view our Store locator found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions. Enjoy the rest of your day.
