I recently opened a cash back award credit card. The # is **********************. My understanding of the agreement was that initially when I spend $500 I would receive a $200 cash back award. Then I would earn 5% on all purchases for the next 6 statements. Well, my first statement had the $200 reward and I charged over $1300 which I thought should add an additional $65. My next statement (closing on 9/10) I charged $158l.00T which should have added $75 to my total. This adds up to $340 yet you list my total as $285. Please tell me why the difference and where I am going wrong with my calculations. Thank you.
