Great to see you here on TD Helps, Roxana! We'll be happy to respond to your question.
First, before closing your CD we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1mLvOG8. This page details our current CDs, as we have different terms and rates available. You may find one which suits your needs better than the one you have at this time. We'll be able to renew the CD for you as mentioned below. If you may be interested in another product with us instead, we invite you to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, where we can certainly discuss your preferences and make a recommendation for you, or stop in and see us. Feel free to find the location nearest you here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you do decide to close your CD, in order to do so we ask that you step inside any TD Bank Store nearby you for assistance. Kindly keep in mind that you'll want to visit during the 10-day grace period at account maturity so that we can make any changes to the CD that you prefer. If you decide you will keep the CD but would like to make a deposit or withdrawal from the account, this can also be completed at any Store during the grace period.
If you decide that a different term would be better for you, but are otherwise keeping the account the same, you can certainly give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000, and we can renew it for you. Please note that this change must also be completed during the grace period.
Hope this answers your question, Roxana! Have a great weekend.
