We understand how concerning this can be, Billy, and we'd be glad to discuss direct deposits in greater detail.
When you use direct deposit, funds are available to you on the date designated by your depositor. These types of deposits are processed overnight at varying times and will be available for use once processing is complete.
Keep in mind that if you've just started your direct deposit with your employer and haven't received a deposit yet, direct deposits generally take 1-2 payment cycles to begin. Usually, they will test the account first with a zero dollar deposit to make sure all your account information is correct.
We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you've already been receiving your deposit and it wasn't made as expected, we ask that you contact us directly. From outside of the US, you can call a Banking Specialist 24/7 by dialing 856-751-9000 or 215-569-0518 collect from any landline telephone.
We also offer secure messages when using online access. . To send a secure message using Online Banking, please sign in here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq and select 'Send a secure message' located in the 'Message Center' on the left hand side of the page. For Mobile Banking, select the option to 'Contact Us' followed by 'Send a secure message' after signing in.
Please know that we would like to assist you directly however TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum and because of this, we do not have access to your account/personal information.
We hope to hear from you soon, Billy. Take care.
