Thanks for reaching out to us on TD Helps, Hollie. We'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
The type of delivery method your father has sent to your account determines the length of time it will take to credit to your account.
If you father initiated a transfers such as Person-to-Person Payments or External Transfers, which is done via TD Online Banking, can take 1-3 business days depending on the delivery method he has chosen. Wire Transfers can take up to 3-5 business days to credit into your account.
If he has made a deposit into your account by visiting a TD Store, cash deposits will be made available immediately while check deposits will credit the first $100 available immediately. The remainder of any check deposit is typically credited the following business day.
You may also take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you have any questions or concerns about your deposit, we ask that you contact us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or during lobby hours at a TD Store near you to speak with a Representative. For lobby hours and locations near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Hollie and have a great day.
