My daughter works and lives in Brooklyn. Now she is planning to buy a house or appt. What are the formalities she has to go through. She has an account with TD bank.

Buying a new home is very exciting!
In order to determine if your daughter is pre-qualified for a mortgage, she will need to visit her local TD Bank Store during normal lobby hours. To find TD Store locations near her, please visit: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR. The turnaround time to receive a decision is between 1-2 business days.
While she's at the Store, she will need to bring photo identification (Driver's License, Passport, State-issued ID, etc.) as well as provide the following information:
Purchase price of the home
Her income and her debt
Tax for the home she are purchasing
Homeowner insurance cost
County and State of the home she is purchasing
We will present the closing cost to her while she's there and please also know that we'll do a credit inquiry as well.
If your daughter has any additional questions, or if she is looking to apply for a different loan product we offer, we recommend reaching out to our Financial Solutions Group 24/7 at 800-937-5020 at her earliest convenience.
We wish your daughter the best of luck, Babu! We look forward to your visit!
