We understand your concern, Cathy and we'd be happy to help.
As this is pertaining to your daughter's card, we would need to speak with her in order to reactivate her Debit Card. She is able to reach us 24/7 at 856-751-9000 via mobile telephone or calling us collect with an operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518.
If she is enrolled in Online Banking, she may also send us a Secure Message. To send a secure message she must first logon to her TD Bank online profile. She can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, there is an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
Often times, Debit Card interruptions are caused by the lack of Travel Notifications on an account. We recommend placing a Travel Notification on the account when she contacts us using the methods listed above. Be sure your daughter includes any destinations she may visit while studying abroad and their dates.
By placing a travel notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on the account. Also, please be informed that for the protection of the account we will continue to monitor her card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case there are any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. We hope this helps you and your daughter, Cathy and have a good day.
