In reply to Gregory, Seattle
Thanks for coming by TD Helps, Gregory! We're happy to hear that your daughter wants to bank with us and we'll sure to show you how she can open an account with us.
Before we begin, we invite your daughter to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if she prefers, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM ; which can help her choose the best savings account for her needs.
Once she's ready to open the account, she can give our Banking Specialists a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Since she is currently living in Seattle, she would only be able to open the account via telephone or by visiting a TD Bank Store during lobby hours. She can mail us her opening deposit by sending a check to the address listed below.
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, ME 04243
We'd also like to share a few tips with you that could help before mailing your deposit.
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted for deposit only)
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
Once her deposit is received, she can request a debit card to be mailed to her current address. She could give us a call at the telephone number listed above to have her debit card mailed to her.
Should she have any questions, please have her reach out to us at the 24/7 telephone number listed above. We hope this information is useful and enjoy the rest of your night, Gregory!
