That sounds exciting and we are happy to provide you with tips for her travels.
To avoid any interruptions with her debit card usage, we ask that she connects with us to place a travel notification on her accounts. She can do so by calling our 24/7 Customer Service Line at 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Specialists would be more than happy to help place a travel note on her accounts. If she prefers, she could also visit a local TD Bank Store. To find a TD Bank nearby, we suggest checking out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If she is enrolled in Online Banking, another option to notify us of her travels is to send a secured message using www.tdbank.com and request the travel notifications be added to her accounts. To send a secured message, she must first login to her online profile. She can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, she should see and option to "Send a Secure Message" located in the “Message Center.” Please include the dates and destination(s) she will be traveling. If she isn't enrolled for Online Banking, she may do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. She'll need her Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, her account number and e-mail address. Once she has successfully enrolled, she'll have immediate access to her accounts.
By placing a travel notification, this will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on her account. Also, please be informed that for her protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We'd also like to share that her TD Visa Debit Card is convenient, secure and rewarding - so she can shop and bank with confidence. She can use her debit card at millions of locations that accept VISA across the globe.
When traveling, she can make an ATM withdrawal from any machine that displays the VISA or NYCE logo. We encourage your daughter to check out our current fee schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when she uses her debit card out of the country. If she is unable to find an ATM that is compatible, with the TD Bank Debit Card, it may be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance.
While she's travelling in Europe, if she needs to reach us, she may do so by dialing (856)-751-9000. Additionally, she can call collect from a landline at (215)-569-0518. She may also send us a secure message if she doesn't have access to a telephone while travelling.
