Where there are chip devices, and I try to run my card as a debit, it has been declined recently more than once, but my balance is up to date. It seems to get tricky when the stores chip device is not working, or I accidentally swipe before seeing to use the chip. I ended up using my other bank card for purchases, which I do not like to use for everyday purchases. I want to go shopping & don't want to be declined, as I've exceeded purchases with my alternate bank account, I will have to put all of the items away, and will have wasted my time. Am I the only one going through this?
