Good morning Jay,
We appreciate you getting in touch with us about this and apologize for any concern about your PIN.
First and foremost, we would like to let you know that TD Bank will not print your PIN on any receipts you might obtain from us, nor would any of our Representatives know or have access to your PIN information.
If you're seeing a number on your receipt that is the same as your personal identification number, we would recommend changing it as soon as possible. Kindly note that we don't recommend using any numbers associated with your account or debit card number, or other numbers easily identifiable with you such as your street address number or birth date.
As you know your current PIN, to update this information you can do one of the following:
- When visiting any TD Bank ATM you can insert your card into the ATM and enter your current PIN. Choose “Change PIN” as a transaction option and then enter your new PIN selection by following the prompts on the screen.
- You could also call our Voice Response Unit at 888-553-4122 and follow the prompts to change your PIN. You will need your TD Debit card handy for this option.
- Visit us at any TD Bank Store with proper ID; check out http://bit.ly/TDStores for a listing of TD Bank Store locations and hours.
We hope this eases your mind, Jay. If you have other questions or concerns, please get in touch with us at any Store or by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Thanks again and have a wonderful Sunday afternoon.
