We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble setting up your father's Online Banking, Carl. We'd be happy to help you.
When it comes to joint accounts, one of the great features is that both account holders are able to have their own online access.
To enroll your father in Online Banking, please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Your father will need your joint account number, his ATM/Visa Debit Card number, his Social Security number and his email address.
The first step is to select "Personal" or "Business" from the drop down menu and then select "Continue." The next page you will be taken to is our Online Banking Service Agreement. In order to continue to the next page your father must select the check box next to "By clicking the check box you:." Once he selects "Accept" at the bottom of the page he will next be asked to enter his personal information that we mentioned previously.
If he encounters any difficulty, we ask that he contacts us directly for assistance. Your father can call us 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Representatives will be happy to help him enroll in online access. Similarly, if he prefers to speak with a Representative in person, he is able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours for help. To take a look at TD Stores nearby and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY.
We hope this helps, Carl and have a good day.
