Thank you for coming to TD Helps, Jeffrey and please accept our condolences. We'll be sure to provide some useful information regarding your POD account question.
Based on your question, it sounds like your children are beneficiaries on your father's POD, he's passed away and your children would like to maintain the account and add their grandmother to the account as well. If this is so, we'd like to state that your children would need to visit a TD Bank during lobby hours to close out the account as online option would not apply in this particular situation. They would be able to use the funds from the previous account to open a new account with your mother as a joint owner. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
If you should have any additional questions, please reach out to us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit any TD Bank during lobby hours. We hope this helps and have a good night, Jeffrey. Take care.
