Welcome to TD Helps, Susan! We'd be glad to help you open a savings account! To open a joint account, both parties must be present at the time of the account opening and can visit any TD Bank Store. Please make sure both parties, including you, bring the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security Number. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. You are also welcome to open an individual account online, via telephone or at a TD Store first. Once your individual account has successfully opened, you can then visit any local TD Bank Store with the other individual to add him/her onto your account. To view and compare personal Savings account products, click on http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM; which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs. Once you've decided on the account type that best suits your needs, you are able to visit a TD Store during lobby hours or if you'd like to open an individual account you're able to do so online or by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. We hope to see the both of you soon, Susan and have a good day!
