Thanks for visiting us at TD Helps with your inquiry, Marjorie. We hope your move to Monroe goes well. Glad to hear your thinking about joining the TD Family!
TD offers a variety of Checking Accounts to choose from. To take a look at the different options we offer, please visit http://bit.ly/1f9fEn9. Our website can even make a personalized recommendation based on your selections, by using our Checking Selector Tool, http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU.
When you are ready to open a joint account, both parties must be present at the time of the account opening and you may visit any TD Bank Store. For locations and hours near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. To open the account, we need you and your husband's Driver’s License, State issued photo I.D., or Passport and Social Security number and any Customer Service Representative can help.
You also have the option of opening an individual account online at:http://bit.ly/PnWJZJ or you may call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Once your individual account has been successfully opened, you can then visit any local TD Bank Store with the other party to add them onto your account.
We hope you're able to use this as a guide to open a checking account to receive your social security and pensions. Have a great day!
