In reply to Joseph, Flemington
We're truly sorry to hear about your loss, Joseph and we'd be glad to help with the next steps.
As you mention that your account is a joint account, you are able to visit any TD Store during lobby hours for assistance. Our Specialists there will be able to close the account you maintained together. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We encourage you to visit a TD Store to close this account rather than remove all the funds. Debiting the account will make the account balance $0.00 however you must notify us in order to close the account.
We recommend bringing a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) as well as the copy of the Death Certificate.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your local TD Store.
We hope this information helps, Joseph, and have a good day.
