Hello Negami, thank you for contacting TD Helps. Please accept our condolences on the loss of your husband.
We know the death of a loved one and settling their affairs can be very difficult and would like to assist you in any way possible. Typically a family member, Executor/Administrator or an Agent designated by the Executor/Administrator visits a TD Bank Store with appropriate documentation to close the accounts. The specific requirements and documentation needed varies by State.
For this reason and because you are out of the country, we recommend that you speak with a representative at a TD Bank Store in the state where your husband resided for more specific information. You can find a list of our locations and hours by clicking here http://go.td.com/1YuxIwb. If you are calling outside of the U.S. & Canada you may call us with operator assistance by calling 1-215-569-0518.
If we can be of any service during this time, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for help. We can be contacted 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000.
