TD Bank may a return a direct deposit to the sender within one business day of receiving the deposit if your account is closed. We recommend allowing 2-3 business days for receipt at the originating bank once they have been sent back. To determine the status of your funds, please contact your depositor to ensure they have received them, and to provide an alternate deposit option for them.
