I'm having trouble finding a way to put money directly into their checking without having to make a trip to the bank each month. Is this possible?

Welcome to TD Helps and thank you for sending us your question, Jessi.
Because you are banking with another financial institution, we are therefore unable to determine if you can deposit funds from your Wells Fargo account to your landlord's TD Bank account via your bank's online banking website. However, we will be glad to introduce our Popmoney service to you, a service TD Bank is currently offering to TD Bank Customers which will allow you to send funds to your landlord's TD Bank account online.
If your landlord has a personal TD Bank Checking or Money Market account and is currently enrolled for Online Banking, he/she may have the ability to request funds from other people by using Popmoney. To start, he/she must first be logged into their online account. Next, he/she would then select the "Person-to-Person Payments" tab and then select "Request Money." They would then fill out the required fields and select "Next." A confirmation screen will appear. Be sure to confirm the information is correct. Once it is confirmed, they'll want to select "Send Request." You will then receive a text or an email with your landlord's request for funds. After you send your landlord's funds complete their request, the funds will take a few business days to reach your landlord's account. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1pADlWD for all of the details of this service.
If your landlord is not enrolled for online banking yet and uses a personal account, please ask him or her to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for immediate assistance. They may also stop by any of the TD Store locations in the area. To find TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Another option to transfer funds from your Wells Fargo account to your landlord's TD account would be making a wire transfer. To do so, you will need to provide the following information to your bank:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A Wilmington, Delaware
Credit to: Your landlord's Full Name and Account Title, Your landlord's Address, Your landlord's Account Number
Please note that if you choose to wire funds into your landlord's TD account, fees may apply depends on your landlord's account type. For more info on the fee for wire transfers, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Otherwise, we'd recommend speaking with your own financial institution to determine any other options which might be available to you.
Jessi, if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
