Hi Reggie, thanks for connecting with us today. We hope you're having a great Holiday!
Your TD Bank VISA Debit Card can be used anywhere in the world while you are traveling where the VISA logo is accepted. By notifying us that you are traveling, we are able to place a notification on your card that will let us know there will be foreign transactions coming through your account. Also, please be aware that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when travel notifications are made. We recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling as well, just in case you do encounter any acceptance issues for your card. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. You may also want to review our international travel tips frequently asked questions by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1ltwDDc .
If you'd like to confirm that a travel notification was placed on your card, we ask that you contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000. If you are already traveling outside the United States, you may still reach out to us directly at 856-751-9000. Or, you can also call us collect with Operator's assistance by dialing 215-569-0518 from any landline. As we would like to assist you directly, unfortunately, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum.
If you are unable to call but you've enrolled in TD Bank Online Banking already, you may also send us a Secure Message through your online profile. To send a Secure Message, you must first login to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a Secure Message" located under the “Message Center." If you are enrolled in our TD Bank BusinessDirect Online Banking, you may use this link to login and send us a Secure Message: http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8.
If you are not yet enrolled in Online Banking and would like to be, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. To complete this and have immediate access to your account online, you'll need your account number, debit card number, and Social Security Number handy. If you're enrolling your BusinessDirect account, please follow this link: http://bit.ly/1dl2HX6.
If you choose to send us a Secure Message, please confirm your exact travel dates, destinations, and if there will be any connecting flight locations while traveling (if applicable). A Specialist will respond within 24 hours and confirm that your travel indications are in place; and, just in case they're not, we will have all the information we need to successfully notate your account.
Please be aware that there are no transaction fees for any purchases made through your TD Bank VISA Debit Card. However, when making a cash withdrawal at a Non-TD ATM machine, then certain fees may apply. Please take a look at our current Fee Schedule to determine if fees would apply to your type of account: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
Hope this helps Reggie. Be careful and safe travels!
