In reply to John, NY
Hi, John and thanks for getting in touch with us. Sorry to hear about any troubles with your card but we'll be happy to provide you with some options you can use from your current location!
From your message, we understand that your ATM/Debit card isn't working as you expect right now. The best way to have your card reactivated as quickly as possible is to give us a call. From outside the United States, you're welcome to call us on 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. For your convenience, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The US country code is 1-011.
Please understand that even though we would like to help you directly, because TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum, we do not have access to your personal account information to reactivate your card from here.
As another option, you'll also be able to communicate with us directly by Secure Message if your account is enrolled in Online Banking. To do so, please sign in at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, click the Customer Service tab and use the Send a Message link with your request. Kindly include your travel notation, with the dates and locations of your trip, so that we can assist you as quickly as possible.
If for any reason we are unable to reactivate your card and you are in need of a new one instead, we can recommend that you get in touch with us and we can mail a new one to your current location. You'll be able to place this request either by secure message, as detailed above, or via fax.
Kindly note that to request a new card be mailed to you, if the address on file for your account is different than your current address we'll require the following information in your message. Please log in to your online banking account and send us a message with the following:
- Your account number
- Your name
- Address to where the card should be mailed
- Do you want your card to be sent via Federal Express?
- Please include the following statement “I take full responsibility for the card being mailed to the alternate address.”
Once we receive your message with this information, we will be able to process your card request.
Or, if you have access to a fax machine, you may also fax the information listed above, including the Statement of Responsibility as mentioned, to our Fulfillment Team at 856-533-1138 to have a new card mailed. If your request is faxed, please be sure to include your signature.
Please note that cards sent to an international location must be sent through customs and for this reason, the card will not arrive overnight. If you request Federal Express, we can send the card with expedited shipping and your Representative can give you an idea of when to expect the card during your call.
Just in case this is in reference to your TD Bank Visa Credit card, to reach TD Bank Card Services from an international location, please use the toll-free collect number, 706-644-3266.
We hope this provides some help, John and we look forward to hearing from you soon. Best of luck and enjoy the remaining part of your trip.
Kristen P, Mount Laurel
