Hey, Joann! Thanks so much for connecting with us on TD Helps. We're happy to help you with options to pay your landlord.
We're glad to let you know that TD Bank offers a variety of convenient payment methods, and we'll be glad to share all the options with you.
Through TD Bank Online Banking, we are able to offer our Customers an array of valuable services, and we invite you to view here: http://bit.ly/1lnLZE5. This free service includes access to Bill Pay as well as our Popmoney feature, both of which will allow you to make a one-time payment depending on who you're paying.
If you are not yet enrolled in Online Banking for your account, please visit http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. You will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, Social Security number, and email address. Please follow the prompts, and you'll have three short steps to complete. Once these are finished, you'll be online right away. Or if you're already enrolled, you may log in here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq.
If you are making a payment to a third-party company, such as for your phone or electric bill, you'll want to use our Bill Pay service for this type of payment. As you mentioned that you're paying your landlord, if you prefer that your payment be sent by check, you will want to use this service for that purpose as well. We invite you to take a look at our Bill Pay FAQs by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1nAVkiK. To begin using Bill Pay, once you're logged in please select the "Bill Pay" tab. You will then be asked to accept the Bill Pay user agreement. Once accepted, you can then immediately begin scheduling your bills! Please follow any prompts to get started.
Please note, if you choose to use our Bill Pay service, the payment method is determined by the payee. We always try to send the payment out electronically; however, if the payee is not set up to receive electronic transmittals from financial institutions or if there is some information that does not match (for example, the account number or account-holder’s name), we process a paper check and mail it directly to the payee.
If you'll be making a payment to another person and looking to transfer funds from your personal TD Bank account to someone else's account at another Financial Institution or at TD Bank, our Person–to–Person Payments would be another option. You'll want to use this service for payments to individuals' accounts. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1h4ZIkL for all of the exciting details!
This feature is also available to you by logging into your Online Banking. You may click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment!
When sending a Person-to-Person Payment, you will have two delivery options, three-day or next-day delivery. To qualify for the next-day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful three-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days.
Please note, that there may be fees for the use of this service. We invite you to take a look at our Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
For support with any of these services, including Online Banking, Bill Pay or Person-to-Person Payments, don't worry! You may contact us 24/7 at 800-493-7562 to speak with a dedicated Tech Support Specialist. After account verification, we would be happy to help you get set up or assist you with completing your payment.
If Person-to-Person Payments are not an option for you or you have a TD Business Checking account, you may wish to visit your local TD Bank store to initiate a domestic outgoing wire transfer. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Once at the Store, you will need to provide the name, address and ABA (routing) number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
We hope these are the options you were hoping for, Joann! Feel free to reply with your questions and have a great afternoon.
