Hey, Sharee! Thanks for stopping by with your question. We know how important it is to be able to use your money, we'll be glad to help.
If you have direct deposit with your employer, you'll be glad to know that you have access to all of the funds immediately on the morning of your deposit. We recommend checking your account to be sure that the electronic deposit was made and if so, feel free to make use the funds.
If your paycheck was issued to you as a check and you made the deposit with a Teller, please keep in mind that using this method, the first $100 of your check deposit is usually made available immediately. The rest of the funds are typically credited to your account on the following business day.
Please note that if the deposit was made at the ATM and your account has not yet been open for 90 days, or if you made the deposit using TD Mobile Deposit, the first $100 may not be available right away. Funds usually become available on the business day after the deposit.
Regarding the timing of deposits, if your deposit was made at TD Bank before 8:00 pm on a business day, it would be considered a deposit on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. For weekend deposits, this usually means that the deposit will be considered Monday's deposit and will post to your account Tuesday.
Exceptions can also occur which can cause delays in funds availability. For example, if you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held for up to 7 business days for verification purposes. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you'd like to review this deposit in particular, we invite you to give us a call! Our Banking Specialists can be reached 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and would be glad to let you know if your funds are available or when they will be.
Thanks again for your visit, Sharee and we hope we provided all the info you need. Have a great Sunday!
