Long story short I cancelled a order from amazon in the amount of 17 dollars on August 5th and it is still pending. I contacted Amazon support and they said to call td bank and say "Settlement Verification Code 085940" will this cancel it early, if so can I have instructions. Sorry I'm still learning stuff. ( I have a VISA gift card) Thank you

Welcome to TD Helps, Darian. We'd be happy to help provide some information.
There are two ways you will be able to review your TD Visa Gift Card transactions. You can either review your balance online or by phone.
To track the transactions you mentioned above online, you must first, register your TD Gift Card. You can do so here http://bit.ly/1dmtzim. Once your card is registered you may view transactions and balances right on the website. There you will be able to track any pending transactions until they post or cancel.
If you prefer, you can also call Customer Service 24/7 at 1-888-294-2249 to retrieve your gift card balance and for any additional questions you might have. Please also see http://bit.ly/1cIdAj6 for frequently asked questions about TD Bank Visa Gift Cards.
Thanks again for stopping by TD Helps, Darian. Have a good rest of your day.

We apologize for any confusion, Darian. We'll be happy to help!
As TD Gift Cards are used as "credit" type transactions, the funds are placed on hold from your account and put into your pending file. While the authorized amount typically takes three to five business days to post to your account, the timing really depends on the merchant where you made a purchase. Please note merchants have up to 180 days to post pending transactions; however, it is unusual for an item to exceed five business days. Occasionally, pending Card amounts listed may not equal the amount of the actual transaction. When the transactions clear, the actual amount will be reflected in account history.
For more detailed information on this, please click here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . This link will take you directly to our "Personal Deposit Account Agreement;" please select page 7 for more information on the "Processing Orders for Payment Checks and other items" which includes Debit Card transactions, deposits, and checks(which will also apply to gift cards).
Again we invite you to call Customer Service 24/7 at 1-888-294-2249 for any additional questions you might have.
Thanks again for stopping by, Darian. Have a nice evening!
