Welcome to the conversation, Ralph. We'd be glad to review direct deposits with you.
For direct deposits, funds are available to you on the date designated by your depositor. These types of deposits are processed overnight at varying times and will be available for use once processing is complete.
We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Please note, if you've just started your direct deposit with your employer and haven't received a deposit yet, please keep in mind that direct deposits generally take 1-2 payment cycles to begin. Usually, they will test the account first with a zero dollar deposit to make sure all your account information is correct.
If this isn't a new direct deposit, we recommend contacting us directly at 888-751-9000. After account verification, our Banking Specialists can contact our ACH Department for more information on your direct deposit. Please keep in mind, our ACH Department is open Monday – Friday between 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
We can also help during a visit to any TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We apologize as TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum. Because of this, we do not have access to your account specific information to assist directly.
Have a great day, Ralph. We hope this information clears things up!
