I want him to make the deposit for me. Is that allowed?

That's a great question!
Your son is able to stop by any local TD Bank with a valid photo ID to deposit a check written to you, in your joint checking account. Please be sure to endorse the back of the check before depositing.
Your son may not be able to cash the check with your signature, but he will be able to deposit the check. We recommend checking with your local TD Bank Store for further information.
If you have any additional questions, you may contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also contact your local TD Bank Store for more information before your son's visit. For Store locations and contact information, please check out: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope you have a great day, Sharon.
