Welcome to TD Helps here in the United States, Sandra. We're sorry to hear about your sons debit card and will be glad to provide you with more information.
For the security of his account, it will be required for your son to request his new debit card directly, we apologize for any inconvenience. We currently offer the option to request to have a debit card mailed to an alternative address; therefore in his case we will be able to mail the debit card directly to him! In order to do so, if he's enrolled in Online Banking, he may log in and send a Secure Message via www.tdbank.com with this request. He can log in by clicking: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq and on the left hand side of the page there will be an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. In order to process this request via Secured Message for his debit card to be mailed to an address other than what is on file please ask him to include the following information in the Secure Message:
Address to where the card should be mailed
Does he want the card to be sent via Fed Ex
Please have him include the following statement “I take full responsibility for the card being mailed to the alternate address.”
Once we receive his message with this information, we will be able to process the request.
If he's not yet enrolled for Online Banking and would like to do so, please have him call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and after account verification we can have him signed up in no time.
Additionally, we see that you may be writing in from Canada, if his account is held at TD Canada Trust please view an answer we located on their TD Helps page that may come in handy: http://bit.ly/1CEUWYm.
We hope this helps and thanks for stopping by today.
