My wife and I have a TD account. My son has his own account. We are not signers on his account. We would like to be able to transfer funds to his account.

Using Popmoney, which is our Person-to-Person Payments service, you're welcome to transfer funds from your personal TD Bank account to someone else's account at TD Bank or any other financial institution within the United States. As you'll be sending funds to someone using this feature, there are three delivery options for your recipient. If you enter their account and routing number during your request, they'll receive the funds directly with no additional steps needed. We also offer the option to send the funds either via text or email delivery, and we'll send the recipient built-in directions on how to claim the money you've sent via a text or email. Once they have these instructions, they'll be directed to provide their routing and account numbers to Popmoney directly, so that they can receive the funds. If you haven't used this service yet, we'll be happy to walk you through the enrollment to get you started.

After logging into your account, you may click on the tab at the top of the page titled "Person-to-Person Payments." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and email address we have on file for you. Next we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete you’ll be ready to send the payment.
When sending a transfer, you will have two delivery options, three-day or next-day delivery. To qualify for the next-day delivery option, you must wait 90 days from your first successful three-day transfer and must not have had any transactions that overdrew your account in the past 90 days. If you are not currently enrolled for Online Banking for your personal accounts, don't worry! You may use our self-service option by visiting http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to begin the enrollment process. In order to do so, you will need your account number, TD Bank ATM/Debit Card, your Social Security number and your email address. When you finish the enrollment process, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
