Although we do not have any banking affiliates in Thailand, we can certainly provide ways that he can use his debit card. Your son can make ATM withdraws from an international location as long as the ATM displays either the VISA or NYCE logo. He may use his debit card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance if a compatible ATM isn't available. Additionally, we recommend that he places travel notes on his account before he leaves. This will help ensure that he doesn't have any interruptions using his debit card while he's away. He can contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 and provide one of our Specialists his travel dates and destinations, after his account information is verified. If he is enrolled in online banking, he can send a secured message as well. If he's not currently enrolled for Online Banking, he may do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please mention to him to have his account number, debit card number and Social Security number available. If he has any trouble signing up, please contact our Banking Specialists, 24/7 at the telephone number listed above. Once he's enrolled, he can sign into his account and select the "Send a secured message" option on the left hand side of the page to place his travel notes.
If your son needs to reach us while he's outside the country, he can do so by dialing 856-751-9000, by calling collect 00+1-215-569-0518 from a non-mobile telephone or by using the secured message feature as mentioned above.
