You came to the right place for help, Justin. We'd be glad to provide details regarding your inquiry.
We'd like to inform you that an ID is not needed to make a deposit at a TD Store. However, for any information on your account, an ID is required. As your ID has been stolen, here are some alternative IDs we may accept as your primary forms of IDs:
-State Driver's License with Photo and Signature
-State Issued ID with Photo and Signature
-Puerto Rico Driver's License with Photo and Signature
-Guam Driver's License with Photo and Signature
-US VI Driver's License with Photo and Signature
-Temporary Driver's License with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
-Learner's Permit with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
-Federal Government Employee ID with Photo
-US Government VISA with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
-US Passport with Signature
-US Armed Forces (Military) ID with Photo
-MA Commission for the Blind ID
If you are unable to provide one of the mentioned IDs above, you may provide 2 of the following as secondary forms of ID:
-Employment ID with Photo and Signature
-US Birth Certificate
-US Passport Card with Photo
-Welfare ID with Photo
-State Issued Driver's License with Signature, no Photo
-Foreign Driver's License with Photo
-US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
-College ID with Photo
-Firearms Permit with Photo
-Alien Registration Card with Photo
-Permanent Resident Card with Photo
-Enhance Tribal Card or Native American Tribal Photo ID Card
There are also other options available to make a check deposit when you do not have your ID. You may make a deposit by visiting any TD ATM. When doing so, you will need your TD Debit card handy. To find TD Store or TD ATM near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you are unable to visit us, you have the option of sending in your check deposit via our Bank-by-Mail feature or even our TD Mobile Deposit.
Banking by mail is simple, and easy. All you would need to do is mail your deposit to the address below:
TD Bank, N.A., ME2-074-017, P.O. Box Number 1190, Lewiston, ME 04243
The P.O. Box is checked daily and transactions are posted the same day.
If you need to Fed-EX or UPS a mail in a Deposit to us, you can ship it to the address below:
TD Bank, Bank by Mail, 6 Atlantis Way, Lewiston, ME, 04243
Also keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
We recommend visiting http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ to learn more about our funds availability policy starting on page 39.

A few things you may need to know when you about funds availability on your mobile deposit. When you make a mobile deposit, if it is made before 8:00 pm EST on a business day, the funds will be made available for withdrawal on the following business day. Please note that a business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays. If your deposit is made after 8:00 pm EST on a business day or on any weekend or Federal Holiday, the next business day will be considered the deposit date.
For example, if you make a mobile deposit on a Saturday, the deposit date will be Monday, since that is the next business day; your funds would then generally be available on Tuesday morning. For more information, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ff8byL (the deposit availability details are listed in section 7).
If you have any further questions, please let us know or call 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week.
We hope this helps and please let us know if you have any other questions. Enjoy your day!
