statement that the two transactions are marked "Pending". Does this mean that when I pay the balance on the card those transactions will take place? My TD credit card was declined, twice as I asked the vendor to try again. I paid using cash. Seems it's because I had reached my credit limit. I see on my statement that the two transactions are marked "Pending". Does this mean that when I pay the balance on the card those transactions will take place?

It's great to hear from you this morning, Dorothy.
We appreciate you bringing your concerns to TD Helps, and we'll be happy to clear up any confusion you may be experiencing.
When you opt to use either your TD Bank Debit or Credit Card to make a purchase, the merchant will generally place a hold against your account for the amount of the purchase. This occurs as most merchants will then come to collect the funds at a later date, typically within 3-5 business days. In some instances, when the merchant authorizes your card for purchase, should the purchase be declined, the hold may still exist. Should this occur, the merchant should not come to collect the funds from your account, and the purchase will fall out of your pending transactions with 7-10 business days.
If this time frame has already passed, and you are still able to view these transactions, you're more than welcome to connect with one of our Credit Card Specialists so that they may review your card with you directly. Our Credit Card Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by simply dialing 888-561-8861.
We hope this provides you with some peace of mind, Dorothy, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
