Hello Christine! Thank you for contacting us and congratulations to your children on their new jobs! Here are some options for them to get started on managing their money.
To find an account that best fits your teens' needs, please take a look at our Checking Selector Tool: http://bit.ly/1gAWlhY and visit http://bit.ly/UbFOwS for the different types of checking accounts TD Bank offers. TD Bank also offers different types of savings accounts, for more information, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1hQscMj, for a personalized recommendation click here: http://bit.ly/1hQscMj.
Our Student Checking may be a good fit for your teen if they are a full time Student. When linked to a Student Checking, the monthly maintenance fee is waived on a TD Simple Savings account. Your teens can also set up recurring transfers from checking to savings to help build their savings!
Individuals under the age of 18 may open a joint checking or savings account with an adult by visiting any TD Bank Store. For hours and locations near you, click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this helps, Christine. Enjoy the rest of your week.
