Thanks for stopping by TD Helps today, Frank.
If this is regarding an International wire transfer, please note we will post all incoming wires the banking day they are received. International wire transfers sent by US Dollars can be received until 6:30 PM or if the incoming wire is Foreign Currency it can be received until 3:30 PM on the current banking day. Once you are able to see the transfer pending on your TD Bank account, typically it should post by the following business day for you to be able to withdraw the funds. As far as how long it may take before you are able to see the transfer pending on your TD Bank account, this could vary depending on several factors in how the wire is being sent; because of this we recommend reaching out to the financial institution sending the wire to confirm a better estimate of the timeframe involved.
Feel free to give us a call between from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM Monday through Friday at 888-751-9000 or visit us at any TD Bank location during the hours mentioned above to check on the status of your wire. Once our Banking Specialists verify your account information, they'll be able to check on the status of your incoming wire transfer. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
If you are inquiring about a Person-to-Person Payment, the length of time it takes to receive a transfer depends on how the funds were sent.
If they sent funds via Person-to-Person Payments there are two types of delivery methods, three business days and next business day availability. If you are unsure as to which delivery method was used, we ask that you speak with the sender to determine when the funds will be credited.
If the transfer was made at a TD Store with a Teller, the funds would be considered cash and made available immediately. The same goes for online/phone transfers if the sender is an authorized signer on your account.
For any questions you may have in regards to your transfer, we ask that you contact us directly for assistance. You are able to do so 24/7 by dialing the above mentioned number, or by visiting a TD Store during lobby hours for help. After connecting with a Representative, they will be happy to discuss your account and any concerns you may have.
Please know that we would like to assist you directly however, TD Helps is considered an unsecured forum and we do not have access to your account/personal information.
Thanks for reaching out Frank and have a great day.
